This was a very eventful season in the NBA, especially if you were affiliated with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But, other than that, we saw Blake Griffin leave the Clippers and join the Pistons but could not push for a playoff spot. We saw a reemergence of Victor Oladipo, who is arguably playing the best season of his career. Rookies like Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, and Ben Simmons lived up and exceeded their expectations. The Toronto Raptors look menacing and their playoff stock just went up after hearing Kyrie Irving will miss the rest of the season and impending playoffs. LeBron must be happy he won’t have to square off with his former teammate. But, just because they made the playoffs, does not necessarily mean that the dream of winning the Finals is as real to the top-tier teams. Before I jump into my take on what teams without a legitimate shot for the title do during the playoffs, I’ll break down each playoff team.
